Weed Wrangle

The Garden Club of Jackson is in the third year of Weed Wrangle at Lefleur’s Bluff State Park. This year we will tackle another section in the picnic area of the park and remove the remaining tallow trees.

As we remove the invasive plants, we also plant natives. There is a small area where we will be planting:

• Louisiana iris

• rudbeckia goldstrum

• canna lilies.

• loppers

• shovels

• trowels

• chain saws

• anyone who wants to help! Chain saws and manpower would really be welcome!
